BAP ran a programme for people hoping to start their own business.

Teleservices

A Teleservices Training Programme was funded by the International Fund for Ireland. 8 people from Blanchardstown went to Boston on a work/study project at the prestigious University of Massachusetts.

Travellers Project

A research project : "Travellers in Blanchardstown" identified serious deficiencies in site conditions, and in education and health facilities, and has been sent to the Government and the County Council.

BOND Project

The BOND project targets young offenders in the Blanchardstown area and offers them the chance to take a new direction.

Flanagan family

We have had a message from Mary Phillips, in the UK. Her father, Frank Flanagan, was from Corduff. She would like to get in touch with old friends of the family.

CIC

Blanchardstown Citizen's Information Centre has moved to Westend House, near the Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.

BUZZ

The BUZZ Community Internet Café is now open in Buzzardstown House, Mulhuddart. And Networking Dublin 15 is now running a range of computer literacy classes in Buzzardstown.

Special Olympics

Blanchardstown will play a big part in the 2003 Special Olympics.

Aquatic Centre

The National Aquatic Centre was officially opened by an Taioseach on 10th March, 2003.
